FABRIC RECOMMENDATIONA variety of suitable materials can be used for this pattern. I recommend lightweight vinyl, faux leather, or lightweight genuine leather. Please note: The exterior material should not be too thick, as this may make construction difficult. For the lining, suitable options include velvet, waterproof canvas, cotton woven, lightweight vinyl, or waxed canvas.
IMPORTANT PATTERN NOTESRead all instructions before you begin cutting your fabric. Print the pattern at Actual Size / 100%. Check that the test box measures accurately before cutting. Always backstitch at the beginning and end of seams. A walking foot or non-stick foot may be helpful when topstitching vinyl. All measurements are provided in inches and centimeters. Seam allowances are included throughout the pattern. Basting and topstitching are done at ⅛” (0.254 cm).
